GCSE Maths sample test: how it works

This GCSE Maths sample test uses 10 questions from the full iPassPro bank of 450 questions. The sample uses the same fixed set of questions each time, so you can compare your scores. After the test, View Feedback shows the correct answer and feedback for every question.
When you finish, your score report shows how you did in each topic. The revision cards then help you focus on the topics that need the most work.
Six topics in the GCSE Maths syllabus
The bank covers the six topics of the GCSE Maths syllabus. They are Number, Algebra, Ratio, Proportion and Rates of Change, Geometry and Measures, Probability and Statistics. For example, the bank holds 110 Algebra questions and 80 Number questions. In contrast, it holds 50 Probability questions and 50 Statistics questions. Your free sample includes at least one question from each topic, so you can see the full range of the subject. Therefore, the sample shows you the whole course, not just one area.
You can compare these six topics with the official GCSE subject content on GOV.UK before you start. Use this page as a starting point, and return to it as you revise.
Revision cards and your score report
Finally, use the score report and revision cards together after each test. They show where your skills are strong. However, they also show where you need more practice. To try more questions, get the full GCSE Maths practice test app from iPassPro, which offers unlimited unique practice tests.
