GCSE Physics sample test: how it works

GCSE Physics sample test app icon

This GCSE Physics sample test uses 10 questions from the full iPassPro bank of 400 questions. The sample uses the same fixed set of questions each time, so you can compare your scores. After the test, View Feedback shows the correct answer and feedback for every question.

When you finish, your score report shows how you did in each topic, with a score bar for each one, so the weakest area is easy to spot. Then the revision cards help you focus on the topics that need the most work. You can retake the same sample later to see whether your scores improve.

GCSE Physics topics covered

The bank covers eight topics, with 50 questions for each one. Your free sample includes at least one question from each topic, so you can see the whole course, not just one area. For example, the sample is spread across the subject rather than focused on a single area.

You can compare these topics with the official GCSE subject content on GOV.UK before you start. Use this page as a starting point, and return to it as you revise.

Revision cards and your score report

Finally, use the score report and revision cards together after each test. They show where your knowledge is strong. However, they also show where you need more practice. The revision cards also add the questions you answered incorrectly, so you can review your mistakes.
