Anatomy and Physiology multiple-choice tips
Most Anatomy and Physiology exams use multiple-choice questions, so a clear method for each question saves time and marks. These tips apply to any course, whatever the awarding body.
Read every option first
Many questions include one answer that is close but not quite right. Read all the options before you choose, and cross out the ones you know are wrong.
Check what the question is asking
Work out whether the question is about a structure, its function or its position in the body. Answering a different question from the one asked is a common mistake.
Practise under timed conditions
The IPassPro practice test has 50 multiple-choice questions. Use it to get used to the pace, then review every question you got wrong and go back to the topic it came from. Answer every question unless your exam rules say otherwise.
